I'm in the majority, not the minority so I think I have the right to say this, that I'm not saying this defensively. I don't judge anyone by the color of their skin. I DO judge them if they act, dress, or try to portray themselves as ghetto-ish and dis-respectful to me, especially when I'm trying to mind my own business and their blaring their music and I can't hear myself think.

There are many people with brown skin that have natural red hair.

If you are talking about people dying their hair, it makes me no difference either way. I dye my hair too. It is fun to change the color of your hair.

By brown Im assuming you mean dark brown complexions (in addition to african american that could mean indian or hispanic, etc).

Personally I think its tacky. The blond or bright red hair is too much of a contrast- very weird. Its the same as a very pale white person going platinum- then it becomes washed out and strange looking. There has to be a happy medium when it comes to hair color.

I look at them and smile because they're expressing themselves the way they want to do so. At my high school, when a brown-skinned female would dye her hair blond or some other color, the others would make fun of her and tell her that she was a traitor to her people because she didn't appreciate her own roots! I didn't think that was fair; anyone can have any type of hair they want, and no one else should have a say in their personal choices.
