Hairstylists help! I want to dye my dyed blond hair back to brown?

I dyed my hair blonde 6 months ago and got it done professionally. Now I want to go back to a dark brown, but am really short on money, so I'm contemplating doing it myself. I heard that it is much easier (so much that you can do it yourself) to go from blonde to brown than the other way around. Please tell me what you think and let me know if you have any tips or advice. I was planning to use something like a couple of boxes of permanent Loreal dye.

No sense in dying it. Give the dye time to go away and you'll have your original color back. By dying it again, you're increasing your chances of losing it. I hope that made sense. Take care.

it is easier to dye blond hair back to brown and yes u can do it like u said get some Loreal Hair color in a medium brown and dont leave it on the time that it says cause your hair being dyed blond will grab the brown color faster so just keep watching it after u put it on using the end of a towel rub some off after 15 mins and just keep checking till u get the color u want make sure u buy enough to cover all of it GOOD LUCK!!!!
