I don't like blond girls. But I'd guess that it's because on a general basis, the blond girls get to appear more feminine because of the larger contrast with their hair and their face, and seeing as how men are instinctively drawn by feminine features, it makes them seem more attractive.

I used to have dark brown hair and now I have sandy blonde hair, I got a lot more attention when it was brown so I don't think that its true. Unless im an exception :] lol
