my hair was originally black and i went through a long process, i went from black to orange, orange to orange/ blond, and finally orange/ blond to blond/ faded orange, i dyed my hair with a blond "nice %26amp; easy" hair dye by a clairol hair product i got at walmart, its like a strong yellow and faded orange color, the top is regular blond and the bottom is like a faded orange, sord of i guess, its weird, i dont like it, i already bleached it once and it came out orange, now that i dyed it kind of blondish, im hoping that if i bleach it again, it'll come out platinum blond like i want it, seems yellow, but too yellow you know? its horible, i want it platinum blond, almost white blond, my eyebrows are jet black but im willing to make them blend in with some black streaks once i reach my color (which is platinum blond), what should i do? what should i not do? tips? anything? (you guys have to help me, please) :(

Go to a professional before your hair falls out girl! It is sooo hard on your hair to go from dark to light!! Good luck

bleaching it might damage your hair too much

you really need to watch , the first problem is,.. you didnt leave the bleach on long enough. if you did it would have went to the white blonde stage with and you could have gotten a toner or in your case the lightest blonde you could get and colored it again . But , you really need to be careful if you are gonna bleach your hair again. that id very damaging. also when you have really dark hair sometimes you cant get too platinum blonde .good luck hope this helps

Honestly, at this point your hair is very fragile. I'm going to recommend you go to Sally's and pick up a bottle of ApHogee protein treatment and moisturizer for use immediately after you bleach/color.

If possible, go to a stylist to let her finish this job up...you've done a good job by doing it in steps rather than trying all at once. If you must, use a low volume bleach...no more than 30volume developer mixed with it. No double40s or even 40v. Don't let your hair process to white, at that point you've irrepairably damaged your hair and it will accept no color and will likely be unbrushable mush. You're still going to need a toner. While you're at Sally's, get a bottle of Wella color in a level 10 semi-permanent (level 11 if Wella makes it, Matrix does), and a small bottle of activator. It'll help tone out that yellow. "Nice %26amp; Easy" is a very strong hair color that usually leaves the hair a bit damaged. The only way to get the platinum effect that you want is to use on-scalp bleach. Since you have already processed your hair with chemicals, I would recommend that you see a professional. If that is not in your budget, I suggest that you use the on-scalp bleach to get that platinum effect and by all means, condition, condition, condition. Your hair really needs a rest, but I understand not wanting to be seen with an orange blonde cast to your hair. Just remember, you can't lift color with color. It has to be bleached to get the pigment out.Good luck.
